The Final Exam will take place on Wednesday, December 7, 7-10PM, in Herzstein Amphitheater (the usual lecture classroom).  Here are some facts:

1. The exam will cover all sections from the two midterms, AS WELL AS 9.5, 9.6, 9.8, and 9.9.
2. A review document has been posted on OWL-Space in the "Resources" section.  Please use this when studying!
3. A final exam from Fall 2010 can be found HERE (and solutions HERE)
4. No calculators will be allowed!
5. I will have office hours in HBH 227 (a classroom, so that we will have more space) 4-6PM on Monday, December 5 and 2-3PM on Tuesday, December 6.

Midterm 2 will take place on Friday, November 11, IN LECTURE.  Here are some facts:

1. The midterm will cover sections 7.4, 7.5, 7.6, 7.7, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, 8.4, 8.5, 9.1, 9.2, 9.3, 9.4
2. No calculators will be allowed!
3. If you use a theorem (e.g. a uniqueness theorem), make sure to carefully justify why the theorem applies and carefully state what it tells you about the problem!
4. Here are some topics that won't be covered:
6. I will have an extra office hour on Thursday, November 10, 5:10-6:10PM (in HB 444).
7. The lecture on Wednesday, November 9 will be dedicated to reviewing for the midterm.
* = Remember that in order to apply the phase-plane uniqueness property to x' = f(x), it is necessary to check that all xi-partials of f exist and are continuous (see your lecture notes).

Midterm 1 will take place on Friday, September 30, IN LECTURE.  Here are some facts:

1.  The midterm will cover sections 2.1, 2.2, 2.4, 2.6, 2.7, 2.9, 7.1, 7.2, 7.3.
2.  An old exam (with solutions) can be found in the "Resources" section on Owl-Space - use it when you study!!
3.  No calculators will be allowed!
4.  I will have an extra office hour on Thursday, September 29, 5-6PM (in HB 444).
