project I have worked with extensively with since graduating college.

One of my main interests is the use of technology in the classroom and how it affects student comprehension of mathematical concepts. I use Texas Instrument calculators extensively in class and am a National Instructor for the Teachers Teaching With Technology program, although I have also done some teaching using Casio calculators as well. I 'm active in many organizations that promote better mathematics education such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) . I also participated in the IAS/Park City Mathematics Institute and am a member of the Rice University site.
Although mathematics is the main focus of my
life it is not my only love. Dogs are a great favorite of mine and I am a proud
chihuahua owner. I am a big music lover, especially
classical music and opera. I am also an enthusiastic Disney fan. I love traveling to Disney parks,
watching Disney animated classics, and collecting Disneyana.
