Rice Mathematics Position Announcement


Instructor Positions

Subject to budgetary approval, Rice expects to have multiple Griffith Conrad Evans Instructorship positions beginning in the Fall of 2018. These positions are two to three year appointments and are open to promising research mathematicians with research interests in common with the active research areas at Rice; particularly, algebraic geometry, analysis, combinatorics, differential geometry, ergodic theory, geometric analysis, geometric group theory, geometric topology, partial differential equations, mathematical physics, and number theory. Duties will include research and classroom teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have received their Ph.D. degree no earlier than December 2016.
