Mathematical Fluid Dynamics


During the first lectures I shall discuss various problems related to the existence and uniqueness of solutions of the Navier-Stokes system (NSS). In particular, I shall explain the new method developed by Dong Li and myself which allows to construct singularities in complex-valued solutions of the NSS on R^3. In the second part, I shall discuss some new results related to ergodic theory and number theory.
