Financial Assistance
Support for
graduate students in mathematics is available in the form of tuition
waivers, university fellowships, and research assistantships. Tuition
waivers pay for the entire tuition ($26,100). Fellowships
and research assistantships involve a tuition waiver plus a stipend
($16,000 for 2006-07) for ten months.
Additional support for the summer is usually available. During the
summer of 2005, each continuing student conducting studies and
research at Rice for two months received $2300.
