Luis Caffarelli (University of Texas - Austin)

Equations involving integral diffusions arise in many areas of science. In continuum mechanics, for instance, when surface phenomena are involved, like the quasigeostrophoc equation, or semipermeable membranes In optimal control, and game theory, when jump processes are involved. We will present an overview of basic issues and recent developments of the theory.
