Lodging
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Crowne Plaza Hotel River Oaks which is located at 2712 Southwest Freeway approximately 2 miles from the Rice Campus. We have arranged transportation between the Hotel and Rice at the beginning and end of each conference day. Rooms include:
- Rice rate of $95/day (excluding tax) for a Single or Double Room
- Free Wireless
- Refrigerator and Microwave in Room
- Restaurant on premises
- Shuttle within a 3 miles radius which includes Rice, the Galleria and the Medical Center.
Reservations must be made before March 14, 2014 to receive the discounted rate.
Supported Participants
Request support on the registration form. If your request for support is approved, we will pay your hotel bill (nightly rate and applicable taxes) directly.
Nonsupported Participants
You will need to make hotel reservations with the hotel directly by calling 713-523-8448 and asking the reservations department to book your room under the Texas Algebraic Geometry Seminar 2014 block. If you have problems making reservations, contact Mallory Valle with your desired dates.
