Algebraic Geometry Seminar: Density of rational points on quartic surfaces over a complex function field

We show that for a certain class of Calabi Yau threefolds fibered in quartic surfaces, the union of sections is Zariski dense. We will focus the subgroup of the Griffiths group of the threefold generated by the sections. Our proof of density relies on the infinite rank of this subgroup.
