Stulken Geometry-Analysis Seminar: Linear, Invariant PDE on $G$-Manifolds -- Generalized Fredholm Properties and Paley-Wiener Theorems

For invariant PDE on noncompact manifolds with symmetries stemming from group actions of various types (e.g. discrete, unimodular Lie, nonunimodular Lie), we will discuss appropriate generalizations of the classical Fredholm property, giving some sufficient conditions. For the case of a unimodular Lie group, the corresponding Fredholm property meshes perfectly with a generalized Paley-Wiener theorem on such groups to provide precise existence results.
