Topology Seminar: Isoperimetric functions of arithmetic groups

I'll explain a class of arithmetic groups that have polynomial bounds to their isoperimetric functions in low dimensions. I'll focus on the proof of a single example, and give an idea of how the techniques used in that example can be generalized to give our result. (Joint with Mladen Bestvina and Alex Eskin.)
