Algebraic Geometry Seminar: Equivariant quantum cohomology of flag varieties
by
Linda Chen (Swarthmore) in HB 227
Quantum cohomology has had wide-ranging applications to the enumerative geometry of rational curves. I will describe the equivariant quantum cohomology ring of flag varieties, in particular giving answers in terms of certain specializations of double universal Schubert polynomials, which answer a degeneracy locus problem. Some tools and consequences include an equivariant moving lemma for spaces of maps and Graham-type positivity. This is joint work with Dave Anderson.
