Outreach

  • Programs for Middle & High School Students - a list of current and past programs designed to recruit and retain young students in the field of mathematics.

  • The Rice University School Mathematics Project (RUSMP) provides a bridge between the Rice University mathematics research community and Houston-area mathematics teachers. They have developed an extensive array of programs, courses, and interventions available to teachers and administrators.

  • Association for Women in Mathematics - The Rice University Student Chapter of AWM seeks to provide a supportive social network for undergraduates, graduate students and young faculty in mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. They cater our events to promote interest in mathematics among women, and to provide leadership and career development opportunities for young mathematicians.

  • The Rice Math Circle, a member of the National Association of Math Circles, is designed for high school students who enjoy math and want the added challenge of exciting topics that are normally outside the school curriculum.

  • Request for Math Tutor - Your request will be forwarded to the graduate students of our department.
