 Compare and contrast finding volumes of solids of revolution using slices (disk/washers) and shells. In your paper, derive the volume of a sphere using both methods, i.e. rotate x2 + y2 = r2 about the x-axis to determine the volume of the solid generated. Please type or neatly write the assignment using complete sentences. Your paper should include detailed sketches.

The assignment is due no later than the beginning of class, March 1st, and is worth 25 points.
