Math 102: Calculus II

Announcements:
- 5/27>:Attached is a list of concepts you should be familiar with in preparation for the exam I'll give you tomorrow. Please note that this is not a list of problems (you can find these problems in your books or on past homework assignments), but merely a lit of topics.
The second midterm exam is slightly extended as well. You will have 90 minutes to complete midterm 2 (which I feel makes up for the extra day of material).
- 5/25: Remember! I want you guys to bring your work in from the webassign tomorrow so I can check it out.
With only two bubbles (convergent or divergent) on some problems, I want to be sure that your work is correct. I will just do a quick scan to ensure that everything is okay, but if you don't turn in any work, I may need to alter your webassign score!
(This double check is for your own good, I promise.)
- 5/17: Here is a detailed explanation of how to solve the integral we had a little trouble with in class. It's a really nice example of having to use multiple techniques to solve a deceptively simple looking integral.
- 5/19: Attached are the trig identities and formulas you will be given for the exam. The exam will only be a 60 minute exam. I know that someone suggested in class or perhaps I suggested in class that it would be 3 hours. This was a mistake. You should not need more than 60 minutes on this exam. (It is very similar to Calculus exams administered to the fall and spring semester classes which last 60 minutes, so I feel that it would be unfair to give more time than this.) Be sure that if you use formulas which are not on this sheet, that you show some work as to how that result was obtained. (For instance, you should show some work to obtain the formula for arctan(x).)
