Personal Info

You can see my family in the photo. My wife, Jee-Yeon, is a faculty member of the economics department at the University of Houston and a part-time photographer. My sons, Dean and Luke, were born in 2009 and 2012.

I was raised in Seattle; I really enjoy the area and would love to return at some point. More recently I have lived in New Haven, Boston, and Ann Arbor. I am currently at Rice University as a postdoc. If you are in the area and enjoy playing basketball or ultimate, let me know and we can try to get something started.

I'm a Christian. If you're interested in learning what exactly I mean by that, there is a good introduction here. I'd also be thrilled to talk to you about it.
