GirlTECH is a teacher professional development program begun in 1995 at Rice University by the Center for Research on Parallel Computation.GAP (Girls are Powerful) is the computer club started at Milby High School in 1996 by an AAUW Educationl Foundation Eleanor Roosevelt Teacher Fellowship.
