A Two-Week Teacher Training Program

8:30-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday

This program is for 40 K-12 Math, Science, or Computer Teachers. This year's GirlTECH participants also will attend the Mathematical and Computational Sciences Awareness Workshop (MCSA) held during the same 2 weeks. Through GirlTECH and MCSA, teachers
Daily Routine:
Class begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. Parking is a challenge. Please arrange your schedule accordingly. There will be a morning and afternoon break. Lunch will be from 11:30-12:30, including travel time. Some days will be split between Rice University and The Rice School (See Schedule Below). Lunch will be provided on the first and last days. A dutch-treat lunch is planned for the first Friday. Class is dismissed at 3:30 p.m. Dress is very informal. Please remember that we are guests in The Rice School or at the university. No food or drinks are allowed in the lab.
