Havasupei Falls

The Havasupei ("Have-a-Soup-Pie") Reservation is in the Grand Canyon, but not part of Grand Canyon National Park. The actual village is an eight mile hike from the rim of the canyon, and the campgrounds are two miles beyond the village. There are two amazing waterfalls fed by hot springs (we were there in January and "luke warm springs" is a fairer label), which are rich in limestone. The limestone makes the water look Caribbean blue, and it almost makes you forget you just hiked ten miles carrying forty pounds of gear...almost.
