PRUDENCE HECK

Information

I am a VIGRE-Lovett Instructor in mathematics at Rice University. My research interests are low dimensional topology, knot theory and homological algebra. This semester I am teaching Number Theory 365. I am also participating in the VIGRE PFUG on Legendrian knots and links.

I was an organizer of the 2006 Graduate Student Topology Conference, which had over a hundred participants and was a huge success! I was also an organizer of the Sonia Kovalevsky High School Mathematics Day for high school women, held in March 2009.
