Math 427: Homework #2

• Read Chapter 1 and pages 32 -- 45 in Chapter 2.
• All of the Exercises in Chapter 1 are interesting and important. I suggest that you work, or at least look at, Exercises 8 -- 19, and 25.
• Hand in Exercises #13, 16, 19, and 25. Make sure they are well written and well argued.
