Math 523 Functional Analysis --- Fall, 2008



        The focus of this course will be a mixture of functional
analysis, harmonic analysis, ergodic theory, and geometric measure
theory, emphasizing interactions between them.  Some familiarity with
measure theory would be helpful, but students can probably get by
fairly well with knowledge of basic analysis along the lines of Math
321 and / or Math 443.  Informal notes related to the course are
available in various formats in the "fun", "hdrf", and "max" files in
this directory.
