What do I have to do to apply?
• Submit an application form.
• Take the entrance assessment.
• Submit your teacher recommendation.

What if my teacher wants to submit my recommendation letter?
• The recommendation letter file can be uploaded from this webpage or via email to wimath@rice.edu.

When will I know if I've been accepted?
• You will receive an email notification by November 30, 2012.

What do I have to do to receive the stipend?
• To receive the stipend, you will need to attend 95% of the lectures and participate in a group project which includes a presentation at the Houston Dynamics Workshop on Sunday afternoon, May 5.

Why do I need calculus?
• Dynamical systems theory and Chaos involve the concept of how things change over time and the tools needed to investigate this are covered in a calculus class.
