I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department at Rice University.

My research interests are in various aspects of Noncommutative Algebra, including quantum symmetries, algebras with origins in physics, noncommutative invariant theory, deformation theory, representation theory, and homological methods.

For an introduction to Noncommutative Algebra, here's a Prezi presentation for my NAM Claytor-Woodard Lecture at the 2021 Joint Math Meetings. The recording of this talk will be available on the JMM's YouTube channel in February 2021.

I also maintain the website women-in-ncalg-repthy.org and email list for women and non-binary researchers in Noncommutative Algebra and Representation Theory (WINART).

Some events and programs that I have (co-)organized in the past include: the WINART 1 workshop at BIRS Canada (March 2016); the WINART 2 workshop at U Leeds UK (May 2019); UIUC's Algebra Seminar (Fall 2019); QuaSy-Con at UIUC (November 2019); and the MSRI semester on Quantum Symmetries (Spring 2020).
