My research interests are in various aspects of Noncommutative Algebra, including quantum symmetries, algebras with origins in physics, noncommutative invariant theory, deformation theory, representation theory, and homological methods. For an introduction to Noncommutative Algebra, here's my NAM Claytor-Woodard Lecture at the 2021 Joint Mathematics Meetings, with Prezi presentation.
In 2014, I co-founded a research network and created the site & contact list for women and non-binary researchers in Noncommutative Algebra and Representation Theory (WINART). I led the WINART Research Network from 2014 to 2022, including co-organizing the WINART 1 workshop (2016), the WINART 2 workshop (2019), and the WINART 3 workshop (2022). WINART is now under new leadership, and I serve in an advisory role. Other events that I have co-organized include: Algebra Extravaganza! at Temple U. (2017); QuaSy-Con at UIUC (2019); and the MSRI semester on Quantum Symmetries (Spring 2020).
I am also an Associate Editor at the Communications of the American Mathematical Society, a new AMS journal that was launched in January 2021.
