I am an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department at Rice University.

My research interests are in various aspects of Noncommutative Algebra, including quantum symmetries, algebras with origins in physics, noncommutative invariant theory, deformation theory, representation theory, and homological methods. For an introduction to Noncommutative Algebra, here's my NAM Claytor-Woodard Lecture at the 2021 Joint Mathematics Meetings, with Prezi presentation.

I maintain the website women-in-ncalg-repthy.org and email list for women and non-binary researchers in Noncommutative Algebra and Representation Theory (WINART). Some events and programs that I have (co-)organized include: the WINART 1 workshop at BIRS Canada (March 2016); the WINART 2 workshop at U Leeds UK (May 2019); the WINART 3 workshop at BIRS Canada (April 2022); Algebra Extravaganza! at Temple U. (July 2017); QuaSy-Con at UIUC (November 2019); and the MSRI semester on Quantum Symmetries (Spring 2020).

I am also an Associate Editor at the Communications of the American Mathematical Society, a new AMS journal that was launched in January 2021.
