Freshman Mentorship Program - Rice University Math Freshman Mentorship program will pair any first-year students interested in the Math, CAAM, or Stats major or minor with juniors, seniors, or graduate students in small mentorship groups to ease the transition to college-level mathematics. It is not intended to be a tutoring program, but to help build an inclusive community within the mathematical sciences at Rice.
The Rice University School Mathematics Project (RUSMP) provides a bridge between the Rice University mathematics research community and Houston-area mathematics teachers. They have developed an extensive array of programs, courses, and interventions available to teachers and administrators.
Association for Women in Mathematics - The Rice University Student Chapter of AWM seeks to provide a supportive social network for undergraduates, graduate students and young faculty in mathematics, applied mathematics, and statistics. They cater our events to promote interest in mathematics among women, and to provide leadership and career development opportunities for young mathematicians.
The Rice Math Circle, a member of the National Association of Math Circles, is designed for high school students who enjoy math and want the added challenge of exciting topics that are normally outside the school curriculum.
